    Ballard Zoning Changes Open House @ Hale's Ales Brewery

    Anyone interested in learning about proposed City of Seattle zoning changes for urban villages can attend the Housing Affordability and Living Agenda (HALA) Open House for NW Neighborhoods on April 27, 2017 at Hale’s Ales Brewery in Fremont, 6-8pm.

    This spring, the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, in collaboration with the Seattle Office of Housing, Parks & Recreation, Office of Planning & Community Development, Department of Transportation, and others are hosting community Open Houses throughout the spring across the city. At the Open Houses, you can check out all the information and talk with city staff one-on-one. All meetings will have maps of urban villages if you would like to talk about proposed zoning changes. Proposed changes they will focus on are: Bitter Lake, Aurora/Licton Springs, Ballard, Crown Hill, NE 130th, and Greenwood/Phinney.

    PNA Village Presentation – Community helping people to stay in their homes as they age @ Sunset Hill Community Association Clubhouse

    Presentation on PNA’s program to help people in the community stay in their homes as they age with a three-pronged approach: 1) A network of volunteer helpers assist with things such as home/yard maintenance, shopping, transportation, 2) Information & Referrals and 3) Community Building activities.

    Membership in the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s PNA Village Program empowers people to remain in their homes and neighborhoods while staying active and engaged as they age.PNA Village serves persons living in the Phinney, Greenwood, Ballard, Broadview, and Bitter Lake neighborhoods.
