A community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement in a playful, non-performance oriented setting.
Music learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children.
Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers participating at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages.
Parents and caregivers contributing to the enrichment of their child's music environment regardless of their own musical abilities.
A new song collection every semester for three years, featuring superb arrangements of original and traditional songs in a wide variety of tonalities, meters, and cultural styles.

January 15, 2024A weekly dance since the beginning of 1999, Waltz etcetera is a beloved Seattle tradition. It's a welcoming, noncompetitive mixed social partner dance. I play mostly waltz, nightclub 2-step and blues; most everything I play also works for alt tango. Dress is casual. Come with or without a partner.

Bliss Community DanceBliss Community Dance

January 16, 2024Bliss Community Dance is an all ages inclusive place to express yourself through movement without judgement of yourself or others and with compassion for all. The beautiful and spacious dance studio is an open space for fun, exploration and connection, as feels comfortable to you and is respectful of others. There are no steps to this kind of dance. The only requirements are no talking during the dance (you are welcome to step outside for chatting), respecting other people's space and place, and being mindful of the space by wearing socks, bare feet or shoes that do not mark up the floor.
