Thursday, May 8th, beginning at 6pm in the Upper Hall Teo Benson from Cascade Conducting will attempt to play 3.5 hours of Bach in one go (a Bach Marathon), to raise money for this year’s Cascade Conducting masterclass!

Since 2018, Cascade Conducting has given out 30 full tuition scholarships equaling more than $70,000 to exceptional young conducting and composing students, with a focus on engaging talented BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) musicians who may not have access to traditional avenues or opportunities.

The Bach Marathon will be streamed live from the Upper Hall on the Cascade Conducting Givebutter Fundraising Page, where you can stream the marathon as it happens, and donate to support the scholarship efforts.
