Blood donation and organ transplants go hand in hand. Over 40,000 transplants were performed in the U.S. last year. Most of those surgeries require a unit, and in most cases, multiple units of blood and platelets. As a blood donor, you make organ transplantation possible and provide patients with another renewed chance at a healthy life. Donating blood takes about an hour and is urgently needed. Book an appointment to give blood today at the Sunset Hill Community Association on May 2nd/3rd and give hope to our community.
