Monthly Ballard District Council Meeting at Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse

Monthly Ballard District Council Meeting at Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse

All are welcome for the July meeting of the Ballard District Council.

Wednesday, July 11, 2018
7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse
3003 NW 66th Street, Seattle, WA 98117

Agenda:

7:00-7:15: Introductions

7:15-7:40: Craig Ramey, New Ballard Blocks. The perennial ‘lake’ south of the current Ballard Blocks (think Trader Joe’s and L.A. Fitness) is being filled in, and a new building is underway. Come hear about plans for that development.

7:40-8:10: Tom Bayley, Stimson Marina Development Project. There are big plans to redevelop the Stimson Marina property at 5265 Shilshole Ave. Tom will describe those plans and what the project will bring to the Ballard community.

8:10-8:30: Ice Cream for All: Please join us for an old-fashioned summertime treat.

8:20-8:30: Other business/Discussion

For more information on the meeting, visit the Facebook Events Page or the Ballard District Council Website.

More about the Ballard District Council:

Ballard District Council has been an active coalition of Ballard and Crown Hill organizations for over a quarter century. Originally established under auspices of the City of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods, we are now independent of the City. We continue our mission as a forum for community engagement, discussions and information sharing.

NEXT MEETING: Wednesday, September 12, 2018, 7:00 p.m. at the Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse. Meetings are always the second Wednesday of the month (excluding August).
