Monthly Ballard District Council Meeting at Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse 9/12/18
All are welcome for the September meeting of the Ballard District Council.
Wednesday, September 12, 2018
7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse
3003 NW 66th Street, Seattle, WA 98117
The September meeting will include a presentation on LEAD (Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program), which is expanding to Seattle’s North Precinct.
This month’s agenda is focused on public safety and homelessness outreach. Guest speakers from Ballard Alliance and the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program will describe new programs underway in our area. The LEAD program is a new paradigm for policing low-level drug offenses and prostitution, which relies on community and social service connections.
See the Ballard District Council’s Facebook Events page or the Ballard District Council’s website for a detailed agenda.
More about the Ballard District Council:
Ballard District Council has been an active coalition of Ballard and Crown Hill organizations for over a quarter century. Originally established under auspices of the City of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods, we are now independent of the City. We continue our mission as a forum for community engagement, discussions and information sharing.
NEXT MEETING: Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 7:00 p.m. at the Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse. Meetings are always the second Wednesday of the month (excluding August).
