SHCH Open Mic Friday May 16!

This month we have our Open Mic on May 16, 2025, at 6:30. Your hosts will be MC Top Hat and Susanna Tamborina, be prepared to pull your lucky number out of a lucky top hat! Or maybe a lucky rabbit!

Our poster by Parker Gambino this month features Bruddah Waltah, a Hawaiian music star and creator of Hawaiian Reggae music. He sold 100,000 cassette tapes in the 1990’s of his Hawaiian culture focused, Reggae influenced music. Please have a look here to read Parker’s tribute essay to Bruddah Waltah . MC Top Hat still has 400 cassette tapes, they will make a come back soon!

So come and see your talented Ballard musician friends, bands, singers, and poets. We have free admission to all, (membership suggested if you can) with snacks, treats, spring water, and “Parlez-Vous Français?” soft drinks.

And for all of $5.00 you can have more of the beautiful Landmark wines from Molly’s Bottle Shop, crisp fresh crafty beer, and the best NA beers available. Please come and hear some fun music, some thrice told tales, and have a plate of healthy cream-filled Oreos for dinner.
