Celebrate the All Hallows’ Eve season with a special concert in Ballard’s Sunset Hill neighborhood.
The Ballard Civic Orchestra, sponsored by the Sunset Hill Community Association, will be holding a dress rehearsal for their annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) concert.
Sunset Hill Community Association members are invited to Ballard Civic Orchestra’s only Day of the Dead performance in Ballard (a full dress rehearsal for their November 4, 2018, concert at Plymouth Church, featuring Plymouth Chancel Choir, Soul Choir, and Singin’ in the Rain Choir; the full choirs will be present for the Ballard dress rehearsal).

Please come early for socializing with SHCA board and other members. Light refreshments (including beer and wine) will be served. You are welcome to come for all or part of the rehearsal, so don’t be shy to drop in once the rehearsal has started.
The musical program features Mozart’s Requiem and La Llorona, “The Weeping Woman,” a Mexican folk song arranged for string orchestra; the full program is still being finalized.
