SHCH is a 4Culture Sustained Support recipient!

We’re so proud to share that Sunset Hill Community Hall has received a Sustained Support Grant from 4Culture!

This funding will greatly help offset the continual rise in operating expenses, for 2026 and 2027. As we confront this new year we are inspired, motivated and incredibly moved by this generous grant.

These funds support our mission to keep rental rates accessible for the vibrant community of artists, performers, musicians, community members and micro businesses that bring their programming, rehearsals and events to our historic hall every week. We are stronger together!

We are deeply grateful to King County Executive Girmay Zahilay, King County D4 Councilmember Jorge L. Barón, and the program managers, directors, review panel and staff at 4Culture that help power a vibrant community with these public funds.
