We are a community-based nonprofit serving the Sunset Hill (West Ballard) neighborhood in Seattle. Our historic 1920s Community Hall is a popular venue for the arts: theater; dance; music and more. The Community Hall hosts private events and classes year-round. Our renters include yoga classes; dance classes; orchestra rehearsals; choirs; free-form dance; waltz; children’s ballet and early childhood music and movement. Join the SHCA Board. Is there an issue you want to bring to local attention? Do you like event planning? Are you good at finances? We can use your volunteer help, even if it’s as little as two hours per month.
Volunteer! We are entirely run by neighborhood volunteers, and we can always use a little more help. Send us an email if you are interested in helping run events at the clubhouse, or if you think you might have some skills that would be helpful. We are a community organization, and rely on our community for support.
