WELCOME TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
We are a community-based nonprofit that serves as a voice for issues that affect the Sunset Hill (west Ballard) neighborhood in Seattle. We hold public forums on topics such as zoning, solar energy, rain gardens, oil-train hazards, political races, the PNA Village Program (aging in place), and other relevant issues.
Our beautiful 1920s clubhouse is a popular rental venue for weddings and parties. The clubhouse also hosts fun events and classes for all ages and interests. These may include yoga classes, wine and beer tastings, kids’ movie nights and art camps, Weight Watchers meetings, and much more.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN SUNSET HILL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
Become a member of SHCA. We welcome your interest, enthusiasm, and presence. Membership is open to all and gives you a discount on certain events and a personal stake in the future of our historic clubhouse.
Join the SHCA Board. Is there an issue you want to bring to local attention? Do you like event planning? Are you good at finances? We can use your volunteer help, even if it’s as little as two hours per month.
Support the PNA Village Program. We believe a strong, vibrant community is an intergenerational one. That’s why we support the PNA Village Program, which includes Ballard residents.
