Waltz Etc
Cross-step waltz with a great soundtrack. A weekly waltz dance since the beginning of 1999, hosted in the Upper Hall since 2021. Come alone or with a partner. Casual, non-competetive and welcoming.
Chickadee Music Together
A community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement in a playful, non-performance oriented setting. Weekly classes throughout the school year in the Upper Hall.
Dunava
PNW-based Balkan women’s choir. Rehearsals in the Upper Hall, performing yearly at Folk Life every Spring, around the region year-round. Dedicated to sharing the traditional folk songs of Eastern Europe.
Cub Scout Pack 827
Ballard’s local Cub Scout Pack for grades K-5. Meeting weekly in the Lower Hall.
Darrah Blanton Dance
Weekly pre-ballet and ballet classes throughout the school year in the Upper Hall for ages 3-8. Classes are taught in a nurturing environment that is fun, non-competitive and encourages creativity.
NW Dance Network
A variety of dance classes, workshops and social dances in the Upper Hall. For dancers of all levels. Come solo or with a partner.
Orquesta NW
Music programs, performances, and events, featuring Latinx artists, composers, and culture. Rehearsals in the Upper Hall; performances year-round throughout the Puget Sound.
Bell Frame Yoga
Weekly yoga and breath work in the Upper Hall for all bodies. Drop-in classes or purchase a series of passes. Equity pricing available.
Bandit Theater
Yes, your child CAN do improv! Offering confidence-building and fun kids’ improv training in the Upper Hall. Bandit Theatre performs improv throughout Seattle, year-round.
Girls Rock Math
Math is fun and imaginative! Weekly summer day camp series in the Upper and Lower Hall, aimed to boost girls’ interest and confidence in mathematics.
Sustainable Ballard
Sustainable Ballard educates, inspires, and engages neighbors to take action to live more sustainably both individually and collectively.Volunteer and Member gatherings throughout the year at Sunset Hill Community Hall.
