Labor Day usually marks the end of summer with folks getting their last bit of summer break in and getting ready for fall and back to school season.
While you’re making plans to squeeze in any last trips, don’t forget to include blood donation in your plans!
Starting Labor Day, Bloodworksnw is on-call with the Blood Emergency Readiness Corps. We’re ready to rush Type O blood anywhere in the USA at a moment’s notice. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help! Our blood supply must be ready for any situation. Make an appointment now to donate blood at the Sunset Hill Community Hall on Monday, September 2nd and save lives. A weekly dance since the beginning of 1999, Waltz etcetera is a beloved Seattle tradition. It's a welcoming, noncompetitive mixed social partner dance. I play mostly waltz, nightclub 2-step and blues; most everything I play also works for alt tango. Dress is casual. Come with or without a partner.
Ongoing drop-in Cross-step Waltz class
Cross-step waltz class, 7 to 8 pm, $20 cash (includes admission to Waltz etcetera).
Waltz etcetera, 8 to 10 pm, $10 cash.
