January 8, 2024A weekly dance since the beginning of 1999, Waltz etcetera is a beloved Seattle tradition. It's a welcoming, noncompetitive mixed social partner dance. I play mostly waltz, nightclub 2-step and blues; most everything I play also works for alt tango. Dress is casual. Come with or without a partner.
Ongoing drop-in Cross-step Waltz classCross-step waltz class, 7 to 8 pm, $20 cash (includes admission to Waltz etcetera).

Bliss Community DanceBliss Community Dance

January 9, 2024Bliss Community Dance is an all ages inclusive place to express yourself through movement without judgement of yourself or others and with compassion for all. The beautiful and spacious dance studio is an open space for fun, exploration and connection, as feels comfortable to you and is respectful of others. There are no steps to this kind of dance. The only requirements are no talking during the dance (you are welcome to step outside for chatting), respecting other people's space and place, and being mindful of the space by wearing socks, bare feet or shoes that do not mark up the floor.
