Spring activities update

We currently have a number of groups meeting weekly at the clubhouse. Please contact these groups directly if you are interested in participating.

Monday
Walt Etc.
A weekly dance since the beginning of 1999, Waltz etcetera is a beloved Seattle tradition. It’s a friendly, noncompetitive mixed social partner dance. I play mostly waltz and blues, spiced with a little swing, nightclub, Latin and tango. Dress casually, come with or without a partner

Chickadee Children’s Music Together
A community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement in a playful, non-performance oriented setting.

Tuesday
Rekindle Acting School
Offering fun, affordable classes in the arts, in subjects including drawing, painting, cartooning, writing, filmmaking and other subjects. Classes are about having fun and learning new skills, not about tests or grades.

Wednesday
Dunava
Dunava (from Дунав, the Bulgarian name for the Danube river) is a Balkan women’s choir, made up of singers with broad musical and performance experience and a passion for intricate harmonies and varying vocal technique.

Thursday
Darrah Blanton Children’s Dance
Darrah Blanton began teaching children’s dance in 1999. She specializes in ballet, tap, creative movement, parent-toddler, beginning jazz, and musical theater. Her students have ranged in age from 1 to 18.

Ballard Civic Orchestra (Orquesta Northwest)
Orquesta Northwest music programs, performances, and events, featuring Latinx artists, composers, and culture, serve as a bridge to excellence in every dimension of life, empowering marginalized communities, especially youth, and strengthening their voice in civic life.
