October 28: Sunset Hill Neighborhood Halloween Fun!

October 28: Sunset Hill Neighborhood Halloween Fun!

Saturday, October 28, 2023 3:30 – 6:30 PM

Join us for a Kiddie Parade; Neighborhood Party; Local Music and not-too-scary haunted House!

3:30 – 4:30 PM Kids Costume Sidewalk Parade

This is a great opportunity for kids and adults to wear a costume and participate in a low-key
parade. We’ll have safety flags to help at street crossings, so this will be safe as well as fun!

Strollers for the little ones encouraged.

The Sidewalk Parade Route: Gather at the Sunset Hill Community Building, walk west on NW 66th; take a left/walk south on 32nd Ave NW, past Picolinos to the Sunset Hill Green Market, and then back to the SHCA Building.

In case of rain, we will have an indoor parade.

4:30 – 6:30 PM Neighborhood Party at Sunset Hill Community Association Building

Lots to do for everyone – kids and adults! Hot dogs and sweet treats will be served to stave off the hunger pangs after our parade.

Kids can pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and then decorate it just in time for
Halloween.

Head upstairs for more fun with balloons, a fortune teller, and a not-too scary Haunted House. Take a funny picture at the photo center, chat with your neighbors, and meet a witch stirring a cauldron full of candy. Boo!

Dance to live music provided by local Sunset Hill musicians and friends. Thank you to these talented neighbors!

RSVP for the Parade and/or Party is encouraged, but not required.

Invite your friends and be ready for Halloween fun!
